Well I know that I have been really bad at keeping my blog updated. Sorry facebook is so much easier for me. But I thought with all the kids in school today and me not working, I would update. Not sure if that means I will be any better or not. LOL

Cant believe how old my kids are getting! :( It is really quiet in my house. But I have a lot of cleaning to do and there is always the first day of school cookies that need to be made. Yummy! First of all I feel bad that it has been such a long time sense I have been on my blog. Second I had a couple of other pictures to post of the twins but my blog is not really working with me right now. So I tap out(Like the wrestling term?LOL)!

Anyways, Happy Birthday Cael and Cason. I just have really loved having these two kiddos in our home. They can be really loud at times, yet very loving. I tried to make them a big cupcake for their birthday tonight and it stuck in the pan so these are the sad little cakes they got instead. Cason was so understanding. He said " Thanks mom I love you". Made me feel a little better.

Ted Jolley stopped by right as we were getting ready to sing to them. Which Ted was with us when they were born so nice to have him here tonight. They always get so embarrassed. To cute!

Also love it when we get the right presents for them. Just look at those faces.

Adams County Fair and Cara's Soccer Tournament

Another fair down. We finished up Adams County fair just over a week ago.

The kids did great.

Courtney's market rabbit took Grand Champion!

We had some really great rabbits this year. Here she is with her belt buckle.

As far as Austin I couldnt be more proud of this kid. He has really stept it up when it comes to showing his pig. This is the second fair in a row that the judge really talked him up. He took reserve Grand Champion in fitting and show. Notice that he even showed with a broken arm.

Cara also did really well in showing. She got out there and really worked it. The smile she has really sets her apart. So many comments were made about how well she was doing. She had a call back. I think she was in the top three. (Should of took reserved. ;) )
Cael and Cason werent at the fair much. We kept them in school. So I they came and spent the weekend with us at the fair. Cael had me take this picture of him at the petting zoo. Poor kid got really sick on Saturday. So this was all the fun he really had at Adams County fair.

This is what Cael missed out on. Poor kid. He cried when he saw these pictures. The kids really loved this. Must of felt like being a hamster. This is Cara taking her turn.

Now onto Soccer. This past weekend the Fireballs were in a soccer tournament in Moses Lake. They played really hard. They only had one sub. So very well done girls.

They were able to take 3rd!

Dance, Fair and 1st Day of School 2010

So first of all I should say a little something about Cara's first duet dance competition she has every done. She did the dance with another girl named McKenzie. They really practiced hard for this. They did a jazz number to "Like Whoa". It took place on July 31st and they did great. The two brought home a silver. Needless to say they were a little sad they didnt do better. They were up against many different styles and age groups. But arent they cute???

Now onto Grant County fair. The kids did amazing this year. Courtney showed first. Her Market rabbit took Grand Champion. So this is a picture of her and her trophy.

Cara just looks so cute out there showing her pig. She has learned to use her smile. She did great. Cara came home with two blue ribbons.

Wow! Over the years this kid has gotten really good at showing a pig. I think he did better than he ever has. Austin also came home with two blue ribbons.

The twins didnt get to show this year but they got to play. They just love doing the tractor pull each year. Here is Cael taking his turn.

And of course Cason. He made it to the second round and only 1/2 inch away from the third round. He really likes this!

They also talked me into taking them to the "Cutest little show on Earth" play. They had the chance to be in it. Cael was a pirate, eye patch and all. Arrrrgh......

Cason really wanted to be the parrot! LOL! I thought he made a really cute one.

On to the 1st Day of School 2010

I cant believe that my twins are in 1st grade. So here they are saying they are big boys.

Cara is to funny. That back pack is bigger than she is. Cara is in 5th grade this year. I think she will do great and love being one of the oldest in the school.

Courtney is starting 7th grade. Wow! How time flies! She is also the schools ASB secretary.

Now the one who takes the cake! Austin is in HIGH SCHOOL!!!! WHAT!!!! I cant believe we have one in High School. He is a good kid. I wish him luck.

Foster Family

Well right after we came home from girls camp we noticed some kittens were left alone in our back yard. We watched for the stray momma cat to come back. We decided after a day or so that we needed to step in and help these little ones out. (Those that know me know that I am not a huge animal lover.) So we asked a couple of people we trusted what to do.

Ran to Wal Mart and bought milk replacer and a bottle. The next day we ran back to Wal Mart and bought more bottles. ;) One bottle wasnt enough for 5 little ones.

Anyways a couple of weeks later here they are. Proud to say they are finally off the bottle. They started eating the nipples and Brent decided that was it. If they wanted to eat that they would figure it out.

Here is Cael with his kitten. As much as we try to clean her up, she is always the dirty looking one.

Here is Cason with his kitten, aka the Runt. She was so cute! We are keeping them in a play yard in the back yard. She was so tiny she could sneek out. She would always come to visit us at the door. She had the cutest little cry. You couldnt help but love her. We really got attached to this one. Sad to say the day after this photo she got caught in the rain storm we had. Brent and I tried to help her out. Warm her up and feed her by a dropper. A couple of hours later she lost the will to fight. Cason was really heart broken. But we have four other little ones to play with. They older kids have really stepped up and told Cason they would share. It is just taking a little while to get used to only counting to four. All in all it has been a good learning experience.

Dont tell any one. ;) Even Brent and I have gotten into really caring for these guys. Never thought I would be doing what it takes to take care of new kittens.

T-Ball 2010

Before it becomes long lost history I thought I should post about the twins and t-ball. This is the first year we have let them play sports. So they have wanted to do it all.

They loved t-ball but they thought the season was a little long. It was great to watch their growth. I love baseball so in turn loved watching them play.

We had great coaches this year. Thank Jeff and Lili!!! Thank you for also being back up parents when needed. With 5 kids and my church calling I wasnt able to go to all the games. So it was nice to keep it in the family. We are truely lucky!

This week we hit two huge mile stones. Tuesday Night Austin had his 8th grade graduation. Woo Hoo!!! We are so proud of him. Brent just told me that he also recieved student of the month!!!

Tis the season. Well we finally went out and had the kids choose their pigs for the year. We should of went out weeks ago. Would of been a lot easier for Brent and Ted to put ear tags in. Anyways we all had a good laugh at these two tough men. Thought I would share a few pictures of what these two poor men went through. Funny what we do for our kids.

Cara's 1st Dance Comp

I just wanted to post some pictures from out past weekend with Cara. We took her to her first dance comp with the Dazzlers. They did great for their first time. I think the girls had a lot of fun. I know Brent and I did. They were so cute and fun to spend the weekend with. Thank you to all those who helped with the other four kids so that we could spend this time with Cara. We are proud of you Cara and love you deeply.

You know there are times you dont have things to blog about. Then there are times when you have plenty to blog but just dont have it in you to blog. Well, I just havent been up to blogging this past couple of weeks. Life has had many ups and downs. I just feel guilty blogging. Plus I cant seem to put my thoughts into the right words. But I decided to post a quick update.

I will start with Spring Break. We decided to take the kids to Seattle for a short family vacation.

We went to Science Center first. The kids had a blast. It was a lot of fun. So much to see and play with. Even the oldest ones love it.

Then off to the aquarium. I think this was Austin's favorite part. The kids loved petting the star fish.
The next day we went to the Zoo. This is just one of the pictures of the kids monkeying around.

After the Zoo we came straight home. We had heard it was snowing on the pass and wanted to make it home in time for Easter sunday. The next two photo's are of the kids heading out to our family easter egg hunt.

Finally soccer. The twins really loved soccer this time around. I didnt get to make it to much of their games due to dance. But I heard they did much better than last season. Way to go Cason and Cael.

Lastly, Cara had a soccer tournament this past weekend to end her season. They had a hard go at it this year. But they finally had a win with their last game. Cara even got her goal! So it was a great way to end the season off. Way to go Cara and the fireballs!

Cara loved what Courtney did for her birthday so she decided to do the same. We took Brooklyn with us on a photo shoot. These two were so funny together. Next out to lunch at Cara's favorite: Taco Bell. Then we went to 31 flavors (yummy). Hope they are always close.

Courtney decided she wanted to scrapbook for her birthday. So we took her good friend Kyla out for some photo fun. Then we went out to lunch with Kyla and her mom Suz while our pictures were printed. To top off this fun day we all went to our first Young Women Conference together. I just love Courtney and am very excited to have her in Young Womens with me.

I am so proud of my little guys! They had their first wrestiling tournament this past weekend.

They had so much fun. Cason came home with a silver medal, WooHoo! Pretty good for his first time around. Cael fought hard but fell a little short. But he was a joy to watch. He wrestled with a smile on his face. I guess I just wasnt sure what they were going to think and do.

We will take them to another one in a couple of weeks. Go Twinners!

One thing is for sure though, and I am sure we will run into it a lot, it is hard to see one winning and the other sad that he didn't win.

What an great group of girls.

This past week we had our New Beginnings. It went so well for it being our first time around toghether. The girls did a skit, with the help of Aunt Lyn and Jaycie. It was so cute! We are missing one girl in the photo but here are the rest of them that were in the skit.

We decided it would be fun to take a picture of the rest of us. We did have a few girls go home before we took it though. So sorry to those we missed.

All in all it was a crazy busy and fun weekend. I am truely lucky to have my kids and am lucky to be able to be a part of great young women. I am lucky to have truely great women to serve with. And a husband that is talented and willing to help me.

Cara's Big Bend Dance

Well Brent got me the Flip Camera. He thought I could use it to blog with, so here it goes. Cara was asked to dance at last nights Big Bend half time. I couldnt go because of YW and the twins had wrestling(thanks Uncle Jeff for taking them). So Brent took the camera with him to try it out. Plus I really wanted to be there, and wanted to see it. Anyways here is the video. I get a little sick watching it on here. Hope you guys dont. LOL. Cara is the second from the left. I think it was easier to just watch it on the camera it's self. Hopefully we get better at it.

Christmas Traditions

So here are a couple of our family traditions. We went to our Ward Christmas party. The kids got to talk to Santa and report. All but Austin. I guess he is getting to old.

Then every year we get the kids Christmas pj's. Seems to also be a tradition to get them to big. HAHAHA! That would be my fault. Almost seems like if you want the shirt to fit, the pants have to be to big. On the up side they get to wear them for awhile.

Also we put a Santa key out every year so that Santa can get into our house. This year I asked Austin to hang the key.

Next we leave some cookies, carrots and milk out for Santa and the deer.

Lastly I just wanted to share a few more pictures from Christmas. I just love the funny face one of Cara. Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you all enjoyed your time with your family and friends.

On a side note. I am happy that my kids are getting old enough to really ponder the true meaning of Christmas. It was a great way to end the day with a family prayer where Cason said how thankful he was for Jesus Birthday.

Cason- Is our loving artist. He loves to draw. He loved playing soccer this past fall and looks forward to playing baseball in the spring. He also enjoys dance class with all his friends. Always good for a hug. We love Cason.
Cael- He is so funny. Always laughing and bringing joy in the home. He loved soccer and is also going to play baseball in the spring. He also loves to stand on his head. He is even pretty good at spinning on his head. We love Cael.

I can remember the day they were born like it was last month. They came into the world in a crazy way and I cant say it hasn't been just as exciting to have them in our home. We are so blessed to have them healthy. Happy 6th Birthday Cason and Cael!

This year Cason and Cael's class had a Thanksgiving party, fest and a play. They have been talking about it for days. They looked like they had fun.

I was able to go in on Friday and help make the hats they wore today. It was to funny because most of the kids thought they were pirate hats when they were done. LOL Cason and Cael

Wow the final count was 36 blankets. Woo Hoo. Thank you everyone that donated fleece. Thank you girls and leaders for tying the blankets. The young women were hoping to donate 25 blankets to the foster care program and we went well beyond that with help from others.

A Weekend to Remember

Brent took me up north this past weekend. We decided we needed to get away to celebrate that we have been together for 15 years. He decided to take me to Port Angeles, Forks and La Push.

Such a pretty part of Washington. Really long drive but worth it. Thought I would share some of the pictures.

Brent found someone that had something in common with him. This poor woman was missing more than just one arm. They were all over in Port Angeles.

Here is were Bella and Edward had thier first date.

So the lady that owns this store also has one in Forks. She moved to Forks just because of twilight. Got to love it. HAHAHA

La Push baby!!!! So cold. It was raining. Just jumped out took the picture and left.

Anyways it was good to get away together. We truely needed it. Thank you Jennie, Drew, Lili and Jeff for taking the kids.

To top our wonderful weekend off on our way we were in a two car accident. Our fault. We lost control of the tahoe entering I90 from I5 . Hit the wall, went across four lanes sideways before hitting the wall on the other side of the freeway. Then hit by a little car. The lady was so nice. We are counting our blessings. It could of been so much worse. We all walked away with no injuries. Not sure how the tahoe faired. We will find out on Wednesday. We had the hitch on so there might be some frame damage. The back drivers side tire and rim need to be replaced. There are a couple of dents. Very long trip home. Took us almost 11 hours. Anyways very thankful for our many blessings.

Thank you Drew and Bryce for coming to get us. Thank you Jennie and Jodie for letting them. And thank you to our friends that jumped into action with one phone call.

Brent's New Love

Brent hasn't been this clean for the whole 16 years I have known him! Ok maybe that isnt true. He is a pretty clean guy. I dont want you to get the wrong idea. LOL

As some might know we really dont have very good water pressure up here on the hill.

Well it was time for a new shower head. Watching QVC I found a shower head that takes oxygen and some how infuses it with the water. Oh my! One setting has so much pressure it is almost to hard to face it (for me). But yet we are suppost to be able to save water with this shower head. Our only complant so far is we dont want to get out of the shower.

Brent is to funny about it. We have only been using it since friday. He loved his shower that morning so much, he got up extra early Saturday morning(5am) so that he could take a long shower. Then last night he had a hard time not taking a second shower for the day. Now he is talking about getting one for the kids bathroom. Anyways when you find something this grand you just have to share.

Fall Sports Begin, Oh and a little Fair

And so it begins. Fall sports are in full swing. Our days are very full with the five kids. Cara started off the season with a goal. But the team lost. She is playing really well. Very impressed.

Austin had his first game this past thursday. He missed their first game because he was sick and didn't have enough practices in. But he is loving it. They won this game. Go Austin!!!
Brent is not only coaching the 7th grade football team. He decided he would help out with the twins soccer team. Which Cason and Cael love. They have had two games now and are always looking forward to the next. Very cute and funny at this age.

Adams County fair was crazy and fun all at once. Very glad it is over. Brent worked most the week so mom tried to be in four places at once. I was able to walk the fair for a short time with Cason and Cael while they took their kindergarten field trip. Here the took the chance to show the girls thier moves. There was music playing.

And finally Cara. She is really learning the ropes. This is her first year and second fair. Good job Cara.

Not to forget that Courtney, Cara, Cason and Cael dance. Which sends us to Moses Lake three days a week. Well mom is really tired, but I love being able to have my kids do things. I love seeing the smiles on their faces. The the chance they have to grow in many areas. Hopefully they grow up well rounded.

Back to School, Back to School

That time of the year again. The kids and Brent are all back to school. My camera's battery was dead but if I turned my camera off and on real quick I could take one picture. So here they are.

Austin's first day of 8th grade. But more excited about football season starting.
Cara's first day of 4th grade. We are really lucky. She has her Aunt Heather again this year.

Courtney's first day of 6th grade. She was so nervous with the whole locker thing. But seems to be loving it so far.

So the first day of school for the rest of the kids was hard on the twins. They woke up ate thier breakfast, got dressed and wanted to go to school. They sat with thier backpacks on most of the day. At one point they even tried leaving for the school. So I decide to call Erin and see if she would meet us at the Surf N Slide on tuesday. We had a lot of fun with Erin and Cami. So laid back with only two kids and there wasn't to many people there. I could of stayed there all day.

Ok so now for the twins first day of Kindergarten. They walked into the school and just waved. I had already told the teacher I was going to have a harder time than the boys. So she let me come in for a little while. Didnt help that a parent asked me if I was crying. Then I lost it. Brent even went with us. I think he even had a hard time. I have had a kid home for 14 years. So it is really wierd that it is so quite at home.

The sad part is I cried most of the day. I even went to Wal-Mart and when the checker asked me how I was doing today, I CRIED! I know, I am a nerd. But I do truely enjoy my kids. It is a load house but its my home.

Grant County Fair 2009

We lived at the Grant County Fair last week. Had a lot of fun as a family. We also really enjoyed Coles, Jolleys and the rest of the crew. The kids did really well this year. Courtney gets better at handling her rabbits every year. This was Cara's first year showing a pig. Austin had a harder judge this fair than he has in the past but still did well. It was hot and long but all in all a great fair. Here are a few of the photos I took.

One last note. I am so proud of Courtney. This is the first year she was brave enough to carry her own rabbit to sale. Way to go Courtney. She still looks a little nervous. ;)

English Muffin Pizza

So not sure why we haven't done this in a really long time. Not even sure if we have every done this with the youngest three kids. Anyways Courtney asked if we can make English Muffin Pizza's. I used to make them when I was a kid. How fun. The kids loved it! We will have to do this again. So quick and easy. Great babysitting meal. (Poor Courtney missed the first round of pizza's. But we did it again for lunch the next day.)

Boy it has been awhile sense I have posted something here. So here it goes. This is just some of the stuff we have done or had happen to us this month.

First we had a great fourth of July. So I just posted a few pictures from that day. Then of course as most of you know there was a flag football league this year. Most of the games were great and ran smooth. Brent and Austin played really well along with the rest of the team. Brent hit a speed bump with about three games left of the season. He did some thing to his hamstring. So I posted a picture of his huge bruise. Glad to say he seems to be doing pretty well now but he was in some pain for awhile.

Now onto Cael. On the 12th of this month we were at my parents house having a BBQ. Austin and Cael were racing on a couple of different things. Cael riding a big wheel and Austin on a cart that you peddle. Well the race didnt go so well. Cael fell off and Austin ran into him. The hand brake on the cart fish hooked Cael's left cheek and we spent hours in the ER. He got a couple of stiches and was on pain meds for a few days. Poor kid. But he did great. Didn't cry at all at the hospital. Even with the needles.

Then Brent had a teachers training in Las Vegas. I was able to tag along. It was great to spend time with Chris, Erin, thier kids and my best friend Brent. I truely missed my kids. Thank you all that helped out with them while we were gone. Erin took me to Retro Bakery that I found on bakerella.com. She had very yummy and pretty cupcakes. We walked the strip in 111* weather, ate way to much and went to the movies with Chris and Erin. All in all a fun trip.

Lastly Courtney was able to take a safety sitter class. She loved it. Learned a lot including CPR. So proud of her. She is growing up to be a really good girl.

Oregon Coast Trip 2009

This year for our family vacation we rented a home in Sea Side, Oregon. We loved it and only wish it was longer. Loved the fact that the Chad Cole family, Jeff, Lili, Emma and Nate Cole could go along with us. Now to save up and do it all over again. It was so worth it. Cason really didnt want to leave. He even told a joke the last day. "Cason: Knock, knock. Me: who's there. Cason: Cason. Me: Cason who? Cason: Cason the little boy that doesnt want to leave the beach and his beach house." Anyways here are some of the few pictures we took.

Shoe Party

Frig Art 102

Cason's vision of the big foot with green moss all over his fur. They watched a program with thier dad and big brother on big foot. This is one that lives in the south. :)

This picutre is one of my favorites of his.
I love Cael pictures. He doesn't just draw sticks figures. He gives us all meat on our bones, but only three fingers. Brent is working on him with this. Plus all of his art work is with love for mom.

Cason has listened to Brent and has given himself five fingers. He is superman in this picture.

So I thought I would tell you all a little some thing about our Frig Art 102. We have always had kids that like to draw. But they don't get this talent from me. Some kids like to color but ours really are not into coloring books. Now give them a pen and blank paper and they go to town. It can totally keep them busy for a really long time. I love it. Added bonus for the twins is they love to put thier art work on the frig for all to see. I really should buy a binder to keep some of it for when they grow up. OR MAYBE A BIGGER FRIG. Hope you all enjoyed our little art show. Some times I am really touched by it. Really some times when I walk by my frig it grabs me. But I reallly do enjoy they happiness they get from it. Who knows maybe someday they will make money from it.

Girls Dance, Graduation, Cael

Ok so I posted picuters of the twins dance so here are some of the girls.
Courtney has come a long way with her dance. I love to watch her. I hope she stays with it.
She even gets a lift this year.
You can just tell Cara is meant to be on stage.
I just love the energy she gives off. That is Brooklyn right next to her. What a fun couple of Chicky Dees they are.

I put Brent in Charge of taking pictures of graduation while I video taped. To be fair to Brent our Camera doesn't take very good pictures in doors. So here are some after pictures.

The end of a great year. Warden School District here they come. Ready or not. Or should I say Beware! I love those two. Will be really quite at home with out them next year.
Ok these three pictures I just had to share. Cael is so funny. You can find him on any given day riding his bike or in their hummer. Cael is really into being in the right gear. This is one of the great looks. You cant see his snow boots.

This one is my FAVORITE!!! I almost want to put this one in the fair. But will probably only share it with my friends and family online.

Great Surprise

What a great surprise. My friend Melanie took some pictures of my twins this past weekend at their spring fest performance and sent them my way. They did such a great job.

The crowd really got into it.

It was cute to see the boys get into their dance moves.

Austin's Long Day

This may be a little hard to see being sideways but I thought I would add it. It is the only picture I took at the hospital. Plus I don't really have any good ones he is a little camera shy.
I have had a really hard time getting him to take pain killlers because it made him sick at first. Kept telling him sleep would do him go. Poor kid. This is how he has been sleeping sence saturday, sitting up. But he really hasn't gotten much of it.
Well just in case you haven't heard. Austin was in a 4 wheeler accindent on Saturday with two of his friends. We got really lucky that Britney and Paul Reynolds drove by. They called Brent and told him he needed to go out to Rd R. right away. Brent being the good man that he is, threw the phone at me, told me my son was hurt and left me behind. Luckly Ted came up and watched my kids so that I could drive myself to be with my oldest in his time of need. (Brent said I was on a need to know basis. He was in a panic.)

We took Austin to the ER. He didn't brake any thing but has pretty good road rash up and down his right side, back, belly and left knee. He is also very sore. He really wishes he could turn the clock back. As for the other boys, Nat is fine and Zac has a broken wrist and has to go see another doctor tomorrow for his ankle.

I think the only good things that Austin would say came out of it is that he gets to miss school, PE for a week and no chores. As for mom? I am counting my many blessings. I am thankful for friends and family in time of need. I am thankful for helmets. Most of all I am thankful that Austin is doing well and that he walked away from something that could of totally turned out differently. Most of you know that Brent and I have been through our fair share of accidents. The Lord just needed to keep us on our toes. I am also grateful for my husband and the priesthood that he holds. We are truely blessed.

PS. By the way I am happy to say that I decide to start using the lap top to blog. So now I will start add pictures again. :)

I have a couple of wonderful roommates that I still keep in contact with from Ricks. Brandi J, being one of them recently posted this video on her blog. I really enjoyed it. Thought I would pass it on. In some ways it reminded me of the RS program. How lucky I have been as a woman to have RS sisters, a wonderful sister (Tena), my mother, my grandmothers, and aunts. Now my mother-in-law, sister-in-laws, newer aunts and grandmothers. And to my friends that have made me who I am today. May you all enjoy this video, or at least think of some one special. Where's the Beef?

Our friend and my parents neighbor Dana Hanson was diagnosed with a rare form of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Thankfully it was caught before reaching the bones or any major organs. He has undergone Chemotherapy and is currently undergoing Radiation treatments 5 days a week. His employers are trying to help him raise money to help pay for some of his medical bills insurance doestn't cover. They are having a raffle. There will be four winners and the prises are a 1/2 beef custom cut and wrapped. The beef are farm raised, grain feed Black Angus. Tickets are going for $5.00 a piece. Anyways we thought we would do our part to help and let people know. We have some of their beef and it is really good.
Dana is always there to help my parents out. His wife Shawn is one of my mothers best friends. They are good people.

I know, I know it seems like every time you turn around one of my kids are selling cookie dough to raise money for something. This time it is all 4 of the kids in dance. They really need a new dance floor. The twins are really cute about it because it is their first time. So if any one would like to buy some cookie dough please let us know. If not no big deal just thought I would put it out there for any one ready to go off the band wagon. Or for us moms that thinks its nice to have some emergency dough in the freezer.
They are the preformed cookies, makes around 36, for 15.00 a tub. Here are the flavors: Chocloate chip, peanut butter, white chocolate macadamia nut, carnival, strawberry shortcake, triple chocolate chunk, butter sugar, cranberry oatmeal, whole grain chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chocolate chunk, and chocolate and pink (for breast cancer). Plus there are brownies and pretzels.
Anyways, there I got it out there. Now I can say I did my part.

Thankful for Family

Ok so I had a first today. I was kind of having an off day so I called Brent. Talking to Brent on the phone, I went to pick up Cason, Cael and Kaelen from preschool today and locked myself out of my tahoe. I have never done that before! I called Brent back and of coarse he couldn't help. He was at work. Thankfully Jennie was able to bring me our extra key. Thank you, Thank you Thank you Jennie. So I am grateful for sister in laws.
Also Grandpa Holman, Grandpa Cox, Andrew, Jennie, Jeff, and Lili were all able to come and watch Austin wrestle today. It was my turn to drive to dance today so I missed him wrestle. :( So thanks for all the support and keeping me up dated. Austin wrestles very well. But still not sure he loves it as much as his dad.

We are still here and kicking. I just wanted you all to know that. The computer I usually blog on is not letting us on the internet. I don't want to add all my pictures to another computer. So for the time being I will just be watching yours until we get things firgured out. It may be after wrestling season. Some time when Brent and I can look at it together. Hopefully sooner than later. Keep up the good work.
For a quick up date. I went to Seattle this past weekend to spend my birthday with a roommate that shares the same birthday and another roommate from Ricks. A lot of fun. Also Austin was talked into wrestling. Last week was his first match. He did really well for taking last year off. As far as his love for the sport. Not so much so as Brent. Austin would rather play football all year around if it was offered. See ya soon.

I know it may seem silly that I posted a count down for New Moon on our blog. But with that said I am so excited to see it when it comes out. I am very happy that they are bringing Taylor back as Jacob. I have seen pictures of the bigger Taylor and am very happy for him. So it begins for me. I will be counting down the days to see how they pull off the second book. Excited to see what a movie with a bigger budget can bring warewolfs alive. Just thought I would add some photos from the church party. Courtney was lucky enough to be asked to play Mary. She loved it. The twins were shepherds. It was funny to watch how embarrassed and shy they got on stage. All in all it was a great program. I will have to ask someone how to post a slide and journaling at the same time.
I had to post two of Cael with Santa because he didn't want to sit on his lap. I told him just to go stand by him and Santa picked him up. LOL Notice his face of "Why, Santa, Why?"

Cason and Cael love playing the wii. I am not sure if they realise how lucky they are to have each other. Notice all the room they have on the couch. I find them like this all the time, right next to each other. They watch tv this way, play the wii this way, and the play the laptop this way. Funny. The things they can come up with as a couple. I just love these two and hope they are always this close.

It took about five blows a piece to get the candles out.

Cael and Caosn loved all the presents.

As we looked back at the last five years we have been very busy. We are so thankful for how healthy and happy they both are. They have come a long ways from Cael being 3lbs 10oz and Cason being 4lbs 5oz. Both of them needing some help breathing and eating for the first 6 weeks of their lives. The long holiday season at the Ronald McDonald house. They treated us so great. Then bringing Cason home even though he would stop breathing on us when he would eat. I am so glad the doctors trusted him in our care. The long first few months of their lives. (SIGH) You wouldn't know we had a rough start at all looking at them now. The joy and the noise they bring into our home is great.

We had a great family party. All the family that was close enough were able to attend, minus the third amigo. Our home was full. Cason chose a spiderman cake and Cael a motorcycle cake. They twins made out with great presents. We loved it. Thank you ever one that attended. Here's to another great year to come.

Cael and Cason really got into this party. It was right up their alley. With a spiderman theme they had a blast. They went to Aim Gymnastics and played around for a couple of hours. I was even told the next week when I ran into their friend Micheal's mom that they were the best kids there. Can you believe it? I know I couldn't either but I thanked her any ways and told her I was glad. I am sure there will be plenty more partys to come. They are turning 5 right around the corner. They have already been inviting people. Problem is that we just wanted to have a family party. Now we shall see.

Grandpa Holman's Great Hair Cuts

Grandpa Holman came over last night and gave the boys haircuts. The twins have never had anyone else give them a haircut. They love it. How great is it to have a grandpa so handy with the clippers! Plus he does it for the hugs. Thanks Grandpa we LOVE YA. (PS Austin is smiling. He doesn't do that much in pictures. What a nice smile.)

Twilight Excitement

I just have to say that I am so EXCITED to go to Twilight friday night with family and friends. I also really hope that the movie is good. I have been trying to tell myself not to expect much. Well any ways we have our tickets (Thanks to Jennie and Jackie) and ready to go. Which having the tickets has made me look forward to it even more. I just have to talk Brent into leaving wrestling practice early. We will see. He can always show up late. To my family and friends going with us, see you at the movies. ;)

Hey I just wanted to thank my extented family. Jaycie for taking Brent and I on a cruise with her and Chad. We had so much fun.

Just thought I would post a picture of the kids on Halloween. Austin didn't really get into it this year but the other ones loved it. We had the church trunk or treat the Wednesday before Halloween. So we were able to go trick or treating this year. Very funny. We will have to sit the kids down next year and let them know what they can tell other people and what they can't tell other people before we go out.
